Overview
A premium digital experience for a Delhi-based technology consulting company.
Applied Information Systems (AIS) is a Delhi-based company that designs and develops digital products, enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, UX/UI solutions, and digital transformation services for businesses worldwide.
AIS emphasises end-to-end product design, engineering, workflow automation, and digital innovation while serving startups, entrepreneurs, and enterprise clients. The objective of this redesign was to reposition AIS as a premium technology consulting firm and increase client enquiries and recruitment conversions.
The challenge
A strong technology business with a website that needed clearer messaging and stronger conversion focus.
Unclear service messaging
The site introduced AIS’s offerings, but services and business value were not communicated with enough clarity or hierarchy.
Weak case study storytelling
Project proof points were limited, making it harder for prospective clients to see AIS’s depth and delivery capability.
Conversion and recruitment gaps
The experience needed stronger calls to action for consultation requests and employer branding for hiring candidates.
User research
Research identified three primary users: startup founders, enterprise companies, and HR/job seekers. Each user group needed faster access to services, proof of capability, and a clear path to engage.
Startup founders
Need: product development partnership, MVP creation, UX design, and technology consultation.
Pain points: difficult to compare agencies, unclear pricing expectations, limited proof of expertise.
Enterprise companies
Need: digital transformation, enterprise software, system integration, and dedicated delivery teams.
Pain points: need evidence of technical capability, want scalable delivery process, require confidence in long-term partnership.
HR & job seekers
Need: company culture, team information, career opportunities, and growth path.
Pain points: limited insight into workplace culture, few employee success stories.
Problem statement
The existing website introduces the company and its services effectively, but the experience can be strengthened through clearer messaging, stronger visual hierarchy, richer case studies, and more conversion-focused user journeys.
The service offerings, process, and business value were not communicated as prominently as they could be, making it harder for prospective clients to quickly understand AIS’s expertise.
UX goals
- Improve service discoverability
- Simplify navigation
- Increase trust
- Showcase successful projects
- Strengthen employer branding
- Increase consultation requests
Design strategy
1. Clarity
Present services in a structured, easy-to-scan format with concise descriptions and clear calls to action.
2. Credibility
Highlight experience, multidisciplinary teams, client success, delivery methodology, and measurable outcomes to build trust.
3. Conversion
Guide visitors toward booking a consultation, requesting a proposal, or applying for career opportunities.
The solution
A refreshed digital experience built to support discovery, credibility and conversion.
Refined service architecture
Services were reorganised into clear, intuitive categories so prospective clients can immediately understand AIS’s capabilities and delivery focus.
Stronger trust signals
The new experience emphasised technical expertise, enterprise readiness, and employer branding through quality visuals and case study prominence.
Conversion-first interactions
Calls to action were simplified to drive consultation requests, proposals, and talent engagement from the moment users arrive.
The impact
The redesign positions AIS as a premium consulting partner with clearer engagement paths.
Service discovery — Visitors can now understand AIS’s offering at a glance.
Employer brand — The site now communicates culture and career opportunity more effectively.
Stronger CTAs — The experience guides users toward consultations, proposals, and recruiting touchpoints.
Key lessons
How to design a premium technology consulting experience.
1. Clear hierarchy reduces decision fatigue — Those four customer questions need to be answered within the first minute.
2. Proof builds confidence — Case studies and technical credibility should be visible early in the experience.
3. Dual audience design works — Clients and talent can share the same site if the navigation supports both conversion and employer branding.
